Last Updated: 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the Blackburn Minibus Hire website and to bookings made for minibus hire and passenger transportation services.

By making a booking with us, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

  • Sporting and club travel
  • Corporate group transportation
  • Day trips and excursions
  • Local and longer-distance journeys

All bookings are subject to vehicle and driver availability.

2. Booking Requests

Submitting a quote request through our website does not automatically confirm a booking.

A booking will only be considered confirmed once we have accepted the booking and confirmed the relevant journey details with you.

Customers should provide accurate information when making a booking, including:

  • Name
  • Contact details
  • Pickup location
  • Destination
  • Travel date
  • Pickup time
  • Number of passengers
  • Return journey details, where applicable
  • Any other relevant requirements

Incorrect or incomplete information may affect our ability to provide the requested service.

3. Quotes and Prices

Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of enquiry.

The final price may depend on factors including the journey distance, duration, passenger numbers, vehicle requirements, pickup and drop-off locations, waiting time and any changes to the original booking.

A quote is not necessarily a confirmed booking unless we have confirmed the booking with you.

4. Payment

Payment arrangements will be communicated to you when your booking is confirmed.

Where a deposit or advance payment is required, the amount and payment deadline will be provided before the booking is confirmed.

Any outstanding balance must be paid according to the payment arrangements agreed at the time of booking.

5. Changes to Bookings

If you need to change your booking, please contact us as soon as possible.

Changes to the date, time, passenger numbers, pickup location, destination or other journey details may affect the availability and price of the service.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested changes, but changes cannot be guaranteed.

6. Cancellation

If you need to cancel a booking, please contact us as soon as possible.

Cancellation terms may depend on the circumstances of the booking, how much notice is provided and whether any payment or deposit has already been made.

Any applicable cancellation or refund arrangements will be communicated to you when your booking is confirmed.

7. Pickup Times

Customers are responsible for providing accurate pickup information and being ready at the agreed collection point at the agreed time.

Passengers should allow sufficient time for boarding, particularly for airport journeys, weddings, events and other time-sensitive travel.

Delays caused by passengers not being ready at the agreed pickup time may affect the journey.

8. Passenger Numbers

The number of passengers must not exceed the permitted capacity of the vehicle provided.

Customers must inform us of the correct number of passengers when requesting a booking.

If passenger numbers change after a booking has been confirmed, please contact us before the journey.

9. Passenger Behaviour

All passengers are expected to behave respectfully towards the driver, other passengers and the vehicle.

Passengers must follow reasonable instructions given by the driver relating to safety and the operation of the vehicle.

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a journey where passenger behaviour creates a safety risk or is abusive, threatening or otherwise inappropriate.

10. Damage to Vehicles

Passengers are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle through deliberate, reckless or unreasonable behaviour.

If damage occurs during a journey, the circumstances may be reviewed and reasonable costs associated with repairing the damage may be charged to the person responsible.

11. Smoking and Vaping

Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside our minibuses.

Passengers must not smoke or vape inside the vehicle at any time.

12. Alcohol

Passengers must comply with any restrictions communicated before or during their journey regarding alcohol.

The driver may refuse the consumption of alcohol inside the vehicle where this is considered necessary for safety, comfort or the proper operation of the service.

Passengers who are intoxicated and present a safety or behavioural concern may be refused travel.

13. Luggage

Customers should inform us of any significant luggage requirements when making their booking.

Luggage must be stored safely and must not obstruct passenger access, emergency exits or the driver’s operation of the vehicle.

We cannot guarantee that all luggage can be accommodated unless this has been agreed in advance.

14. Child Passengers

Customers travelling with children are responsible for informing us of the ages and requirements of the children when making a booking.

Where a child requires a particular seating arrangement or legally required restraint, this should be discussed with us before the journey.

15. Delays and Traffic

Journey times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, road closures, accidents, adverse weather, roadworks and other circumstances outside our control.

We will make reasonable efforts to operate journeys according to the agreed schedule, but we cannot guarantee an exact arrival time where delays are caused by circumstances beyond our control.

16. Vehicle Availability

The specific vehicle shown or discussed at the time of enquiry may be subject to availability.

Where necessary, we may provide a suitable alternative vehicle of an appropriate capacity.

We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that any replacement vehicle is suitable for the confirmed booking.

17. Airport Journeys

Customers booking airport transportation are responsible for providing accurate flight and travel information where required.

We recommend allowing sufficient time for traffic, check-in, security and other airport procedures.

Flight delays or changes should be communicated to us as soon as possible.

18. Lost Property

Passengers should check the vehicle carefully before leaving.

If you believe you have left an item inside a minibus, contact us as soon as possible with details of the missing property.

While we will make reasonable efforts to locate and return lost property, we cannot guarantee that lost items will be recovered.

19. Website Information

We aim to ensure that the information published on the Blackburn Minibus Hire website is accurate and up to date.

However, information about services, availability, vehicles and prices may change without notice.

Website information does not constitute a confirmed booking.

20. Our Responsibility

We will take reasonable care when providing our services.

However, we cannot accept responsibility for delays, missed connections, missed appointments or other losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

21. Circumstances Beyond Our Control

We will not be responsible for failure or delay in providing a service where this results from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

This may include severe weather, road closures, accidents, traffic disruption, mechanical issues, emergencies, restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Where possible, we will contact customers and take reasonable steps to provide an alternative solution.

22. Complaints

If you have a complaint regarding our service, please contact us as soon as possible and provide details of the booking and the issue.

We will review complaints fairly and aim to resolve genuine concerns as quickly as reasonably possible.

23. Privacy

Personal information provided through our website or during the booking process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information about how personal data is collected, used and protected.

24. Website Use

You must not use this website for unlawful purposes or attempt to interfere with its operation, security or availability.

You must not reproduce, copy, modify or distribute website content without appropriate permission.
